Outdoor Lifestyle was founded in 2006.

The period when outdoor lounge furniture was not yet known in the Netherlands.

After drawing our own designs, we left for China to have the plastic wicker style furniture produced. The quality was fine by Chinese standards but not entirely to our liking. Storage took place in a shurgard box but that soon became too small. In wassenaar we could get cheap storage from a bulb farmer. We also had a small showroom set up there in a greenhouse where customers could test sit on the furniture for a while. The greenhouses were bloody hot in the summer and after 5 minutes you just wanted to go outside to get air. We found storage in an industrial area in Bleiswijk. That was a lot better and made a nice corner there with our lounge furniture.

Our goal was to use the highest quality materials for outdoor use. Beautiful fabrics that cannot fade and are easy to maintain and last for years. Aluminum frame which is super strong and use the highest quality foam which can always be left outside without water retention. Production had to move to the Netherlands because China could not meet our requirements at all. A very high quality outdoor furniture was created which also looked beautiful. This furniture came with a beautiful showroom where customers could see right away that this is not garden center quality.

After almost 10 years, we can proudly say that we have designed an exclusive outdoor furniture that meets the very highest quality materials for long-term outdoor use with, of course, a beautiful look.
